July 2009 BPL wins the order for a 4.5 MWe power plant in northern Italy

In July 2009 Bagnolo power awarded Biomass Power Ltd an order to build a biomass power station from their range of products.  Having visited the Eccleshall biomass project several times previously, it was realised by the owner’s and his engineers that the Eccleshall plant ran consistently well on a wide range of fuels.  Although, there was stiff domestic and international competition it was realised Biomass Power was not the most expensive or the cheapest but was deemed to be the best value for money with the most relevant experience in their field.  The plant is scheduled to be complete by the middle of next year with 70% of the equipment now delivered and installed on site.
