The RWM show 'best ever'

The RWM show was BPL's best ever, this show was the third RWM show where BPL had a stand. A record number of NEW enquires were taken and a great deal of interest was rekindled with some old industry contacts of BPL's.
The show was very focused on what opportunities recycling waste can bring to a business. BPL's unique Technology really seemed to tick all of the boxes when it came to utilizing residues that were left over from other process like MRF's, shredders and composting facilities.

News, BPL secure investment
Green Energy Parks Ltd (GEP) took a small stake in BPL over a year ago. In January of this year it was deemed beneficial to both parties, for that stake to be increased. This investment brings the two companies even closer together. GEP are experts in the development of turn key power stations, running off of the biomass fractions that are left in waste. BPL’s clean gasification technology fits very well in GEP’s ethos of zero to landfill. This multi million pound boost will enable BPL to accelerate its development of partnerships with clients who have sites with waste removal problems who need to commit to a green agenda.
Marco Cereste the chairman of GEP said BPL will be a long term strategic partner for our business and we were delighted to make the investment.

October 2009 BPL is chosen as preferred contractor for 80 MWe PREL project ……
Peterborough Renewable Energy ltd are a very dynamic developer of renewable energy parks, in fact they invented the concept. PREL needed a partner who could see them though a financial due diligence process taking them to financial close. The main criteria for this are working plants in the UK meeting the waste incineration directive and claiming renewable energy certificates. Biomass Power’s team provided this comfort and were more than willing to go the extra mile to take this project over the line. PREL now have full planning, fuel, finance and a PPA in place. BPL and PREL are now jointly progressing a main contactor to contractual close. Please visit www.prel-online.co.uk for further project information.
